We are home, and all is right with the world as my Mom would say. There is really nothing like being home with family for the holidays. My heart is truly happy. We are back in the country, back to doggy snuggles, parents hugs, and family togetherness. Oh yeah, and butter burgers and custard. Lots and lots of butter burgers and custard.

Years ago we went to the famed Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn, NY. We didn’t have a reservation, we waited for almost two hours, and we barely got in. And then it ended up being a huge disappointment. Yep, it was one of the worst meals that we had ever had. And at the time, we felt sort of alone with our experience. After all, Peter Luger’s was “the” place for a steak dinner. But after reading this article, it appears that we are definitely not alone.

Life is a balancing act. And often times we guilt ourselves in both directions – too much time spent working, or too much time spent away from work. If you have ever found yourself in either of these places, this article is definitely a good read for you.

I can’t deny it, every blue moon I love me some McDonald’s. But after reading this article, I am definitely going to be thinking twice about that burger and those french fries.
