This past weekend, Little Italy transformed into an outdoor art show, hence the name, ArtWalk. We have been going for the past 3 or 4 years, and we always look forward to it – good food, good music and great art.
After walking around for a bit, we both agreed that it seemed even bigger this year, with even more artists. It was really great to see so many different genres of art all in one place.
In between admiring the art, we stopped and listened to the great bands that came out to entertain as well.
we couldn’t help ourselves, we loved watching the balloon guy too!
After a few hours of art and music, we had worked up a hunger, so decided to pop into Monello for their aperitivo hour. Every day from 4-7 p.m., you get three small plates with the purchase of a drink. We really love it, because you get something different every time.
We decided we wanted a little extra nibble, so we ordered their fabulous fried calamari (best in town, in my opinion).
Art, music and good food…it was a great day!
What a beautiful experience! I love looking at a variety of art. In my town, they have an annual art show… and it’s sooo fun going around and checking out the different pieces. xo!
