Last week we decided to head up to La Jolla on a very sunny day here in California, to grab a drink and enjoy the views. Now this was not just any day of the week, or any kind of drink. This was pretty much a too good to be true situation.
If you are local to San Diego, you will want to be putting this on your to-do list a.s.a.p. Every Wednesday (and only Wednesday’s) at Cusp Restaurant, on top of the swanky Hotel La Jolla, you can enjoy what they call “Veuve Around the Clock.”
The name alone is enough to excite me, but wait until you hear the details. It starts at 4 o’clock, and between 4-5 p.m. a glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne costs $4. Four dollars people!! And then from 5-6 p.m., it costs $5, and so on and so forth until they close. Seriously, a glass of Veuve Clicquot for $4…now that is the deal of the century.
So, if you are anything like me, and you would like to enjoy a nice glass of champagne with a beautiful view (at a crazy price), then make your way to Cusp this Wednesday. I promise you that the experience will be worth its weight in Veuve!
