Ciao Italia

For those of you who follow me on Instagram (@kmiabellavita), you’ve been catching glimpses of my amazing, almost month-long trip throughout Italy.  Now that I’ve got my bags unpacked, and my photos uploaded, I am so excited to share all of my fun with you guys!

After a long, but enjoyable flight (thank you British Airways), I arrived in Rome ready for a good nights rest.  And thanks to the invitation from Babuino 181, I had an amazingly comfortable bed waiting for me after my long travel day.

Everything about my room was great – comfy bed, huge bathroom, fruit basket and champagne…what more can a girl ask for?  I made sure to get relaxed right away.

After a good nights sleep, I was ready to conquer Rome; but first, coffee.

Fueled up and ready to go, I spent my day in Rome covering as much ground as possible.  I started with the Vatican and then wandered my way through the endless beautiful churches.

The beauty of the churches in Rome (and all of Italy) amazes me.  The attention to detail, the ornate carvings, the marble, the gold; it is all so breathtaking.

After a long hot day in Rome, I was excited to get back to Babuino for their complimentary rooftop happy hour.  A cool breeze and a glass of Prosecco were the perfect way to end a great day.
