When the cute little cottage home on the corner of Fir and Columbia changed ownership, I was curious to see what would pop up. When they started painting the cottage bright white and azzurri blue, I knew that it was going to be something great.
Azzurra Capri really transformed the corner with it’s bright and cheery exterior; and the inside is even better.
Owner Diana spent years in Italy learning the trade of making beautiful sandals, and cultivating an eye for on-point Mediterranean fashions. She then opened Azzurra Capri to share her wonderful finds with San Diego.
The sandals that Diana makes (all handmade – custom orders welcome) are breathtaking. The crystals and details that she uses are amazing.
All of the clothing, jewelry and accessories that she hand picks for the store are equally impressive. Everything has that easy Mediterranean feel to it.
The only trouble is trying to decide which pair of sandals to bring home!
