So I am roughly 4 months into my fantastical mini life goal list (you know, my 101 in 1001), and things are actually going really really well. When I have come back to review my list lately, I have actually been surprised at how quickly things are going. I couldn’t have imagined checking so many things off of my list already, but I have! 11 done and 11 currently in the works. That’s pretty awesome, right?
For some reason, checking these things off of my list makes me think about The Secret. Have you heard about it? It’s a movie, but there are also a ton of different books written about it too (if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it). Basically it talks all about willing what you want to happen in life – believing that all of the good things you want in life are already yours in the works.
And relating it to my list – I feel like I planted a seed with this list. Subconsciously, the list has been growing inside of me, and perhaps I have started working on things without even realizing it. And then, what feels like out of nowhere, I’m like, “whoa, I completed 4 more goals!”
I’m sure that there are two schools of thought on this – but why not wake up and say, today is going to be a great day…and then have everything go your way? Maybe this all sounds a bit silly, but give it a try. What do you want your today to be like? Go conquer this Tuesday, and I’m sure that it will be everything you want it to be!
