I’m not sure why, but this week has been a bit of a blur. In fact now that I think of it, this Summer has been a bit of a blur. I keep thinking to myself, is it really going to be August…tomorrow?!? So in a bid to catch up on everything, here’s whats been happening with me this week:
1. Loving my new Rachel Roy dress. The fit, the fabric; everything is spot on. (It’s even on sale this weekend for $41)
2. I’ve been kind of obsessed with this song. I heard it at a local coffee shop and was hooked. I even found some amazing YouTube videos of it, it’s pretty epic. #80sitalianpop
3. This amazing rosé has been a staple in our house as of late. We came across it at our local World Market. The bottle is beautiful and the wine even better. (For those of you who may be weary of rosé, it is not sweet at all, this rosé is very dry.)
4. Check out this cutie! We had been looking for an accent chair for our living room for a bit here, and we came across this guy at TJ Maxx. It is the perfect companion for our buddy Clarke.
5. After seeing Smitten Kitchen’s latest post, I can’t seem to want to eat anything else. Bread, fried provolone and heirloom tomatoes…yes please! I will definitely be whipping this recipe up this weekend.
6. Trying to learn a new language just got a little bit easier. With Italki, you can schedule Skype lessons with teachers from around the world. You can view the profiles for hundreds of teachers, their degrees, their specialties, and prices; you can even watch a video about them. Still not convinced? 7. I’m loving these Steve Madden sneaks I picked up for the Mr. And did I mention that they are on sale for $22!?!
8. I’ve really been enjoying Coronado Beach during low tide lately. Endless packed sand to walk and run on; plus the waves have been killer lately, so there has been some pretty awesome surf action happening. (Tide guide here.)
