Sneaker Sandals

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of “sneaker sandals.”  Or at least that’s what I’ve been calling them – sandals that have more of a sneaker bottom to them.  I’ve got to be honest, I’m intrigued.  A sandal that could provide even more comfort sounds great to me, but is it possible to combine fashion with function?  The proof is in the pudding…

the contenders line up for battle…

lucky brand sandals – comfort yes, style…not so me

calvin klein sandals – same feelings as #1

report signature sandal – not as comfortable as the first pairs

steve madden flatforms – these I liked more than the others, but the style didn’t totally do it for me

steve madden gladiator sandals – these were the winners for me,  style and function!

To be honest, I’m still not sure if I am totally sold on this whole sneaker sandal look, but I am willing to give these Madden’s a try.  They are crazy comfortable, and I’m excited to have a casual gladiator to roam around in this Summer.  What do you think about this new trend?  Love it or leave it?
