thursday notes & links

I am normally a windows open, fresh air, in and out of the house all day kind of girl. But this week the weather has not been my friend. We’ve been pushing 90° every single day, and the air has been bone dry. Like creating a deficit of moisture dry. So in an unlikely turn of events, we’ve kept the house buttoned up, the air on, and me. . .well, I’ve mostly been staying in.

I read this article, and honestly my first thought was, “. . .what the heck is biohacking?” But regardless of my own personal confusion, there were some great pieces of advice for living your best life. (And no. 22 was easily my favorite!)

I’ve had my eye on this gorgeous black cashmere-blend sweater, and this tan 100% cashmere baby for a few weeks now. But apparently so has everyone else in the world, because sadly they have been sold out for as long as I was aware that they even existed.

Decision making is sometimes something that I struggle with, which is why I loved this article so much!

Suburbs or city? That is definitely something that I have debated about, and something that I was hoping that this article might shed a little bit of light on for me.

Whoops. I definitely could have used this article a few years ago, “15 Things You Should Never, Ever Put in the Dishwasher.” But better late than never, right?!?

I recently did a survey for my alma mater, and there were a bunch of questions about what would have been helpful as a student to better prepare me for the “real world.” So when I came across this article a few days ago, it really struck a chord with me.

After reading this article, I was reminded that good habits really are the key to success.

Nope, not a whole new world. . .more like a whole new meaning. I stumbled across this article, which shares the real-life inspiration for the Disney classic, the Little Mermaid.

Although I do my best not to stress, I was still curious to take this free quiz to see what my stressors are, and how I can help myself.

Enjoy and have a great day!
